Hey, Reader, Ever get that sleepy, autopilot feeling, like life is dulled under routines and endless lists? I call it the “poppy spell.” (Dorothy fans, you know what I mean.) The world lulls us into forgetting who we are, especially if you’re someone who cares deeply for others. Suddenly, you’re floating through the day, a little grayer around the edges. It’s sneaky. Does your day feel like a script you didn’t write? You’re not alone. As Dr. Sue Morter says, “We came here to awaken to the greatness of our being and the truth of who we are as conscious creators.” That’s the real reason you’re here. You’re more than your to-do list, your people-pleasing, your old habits. You’re a lightworker, a multidimensional being, playing human for a while. Sometimes, you just forget. And that’s okay. The trick is knowing how to come home. Simple Poppy Spell Breaker All you need is a breath... Pause. Let everything else fade for a moment. Just be here. Hand on your heart, or your belly. You can close your eyes if you want. Breathe in, slow and deep. Imagine a circle of love around you. Let that light warm your whole chest. Exhale. Say, quietly or out loud: “I’m here. I remember.” (Or try: “I am more than this story.”) Notice. You may just feel softer or clearer. Maybe nothing. Either way, you’re back with yourself. Small shifts add up. Even the everyday moments can wake you up. You’re never as far from your center as you think. You’re just a single breath away. Try this: Ask yourself, What story am I living today? If it feels borrowed, give yourself permission to rewrite it. Where can you pause, even for a minute, and let yourself remember your light? Would you like to read the blog post that this email comes from? It's here: No More Poppy Spell. :) You are not here to blend in. You are here to remember, and to shine. Always. See you soon!
